Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE)
The Centre for Distance Learning and Continuing Education (CDL&CE) took off as an integral part of the University. The first batch of students of this component registered in October 1992. The aim of the CDL&CE is to provide University educational opportunities for those whom, for one reson or the other cannot acquire such education through the regular University education system. It also provides oppurtunities for those, who though have the regular University educatioin, may be interested in acquireing new knowledge and some specialized skills in other areas outside their initial areas of specialization. In short, the system provides a golden opportunity for adults and non-traditional students to acquire a University degree. |
